The TX-6 has a built-in instrument tuner that detects the pitch of incoming audio signals.

Accessing the Tuner

The instrument tuner is available in the system menu. Press SHIFT + select to open the system menu, then turn the select encoder to scroll to the instrument tuner option and click to enter.

Using the Tuner

Once in tuner mode, the display shows the detected pitch of the audio coming into the TX-6. You can choose which input track to monitor by turning the select encoder or pressing the track buttons (1-6) to switch between channels.

The tuner analyzes the audio signal from your selected input and displays the detected pitch, helping you tune instruments connected to any of the six input channels. This is particularly useful when recording live instruments or ensuring multiple sources are in tune with each other.
