How do I get started with the TX-6?
The TX-6 is a compact field mixer that can be used straight out of the box for mixing audio. Here is a quick overview of what to expect when setting it up for the first time.

Powering on
The TX-6 charges via 5V USB power, such as from a computer's USB port or a dedicated USB charger. Make sure to use only 5V USB power to avoid damage.
Before connecting anything
A few important precautions to keep in mind:
- Turn off power to all connected devices before making connections
- Never connect the TX-6's inputs or outputs to a microphone input with active phantom power, as this can cause damage
- Always connect cables to the TX-6 first if you need to connect or disconnect during use
Safe operating conditions
Use the TX-6 in ambient temperatures between 0°C and 50°C (32°F and 122°F) and keep relative humidity below 95%. Keep the unit level and stable during use.

It is worth checking for a firmware update before diving in. The manual references an update utility you can access online to keep your unit current.
