Getting started with the TX-6 is straightforward. Flip the power switch to the up position (the LED lights up), connect your audio sources to any of the six inputs on top, and plug headphones or speakers into the main output. You're ready to mix.

Basic Setup

Connect audio sources to the 3.5mm input jacks (1-6) on top of the unit. Each input can handle stereo signals, mono sources, or even two mono sources with a splitter cable. Plug headphones or speakers into the main out jack (6.35mm with included 3.5mm adapter).

First Mix

Use the six faders to control volume for each channel. The parameter knobs give you 3-band EQ per channel: blue (high), orange (mid), white (low). Turn clockwise to boost frequencies, counter-clockwise to cut them.

Channel Settings

Press and hold any track button (1-6) to access that channel's settings. Here you can adjust input gain, change the input type (mono/stereo/balanced), and configure pan. Turn the select encoder to navigate options and click to confirm.

Quick Tips

Press track buttons to select which channel you're working on. Hold shift and press select to access the system menu for global settings like limiter, LED brightness, and USB routing. Tap the select encoder from the home screen for quick tempo and recorder access.
