How do I use the EQ?

The TX-6 has a three-band EQ available on each channel. You access it through the parameter knobs on each track.
Accessing the EQ
Press a track button to enter input mode for that channel, then use the parameter knobs to adjust the three EQ bands.
EQ bands
The three bands available are:
- EQ high
- EQ mid
- EQ low
MIDI control
If you are controlling the TX-6 via MIDI, you can send CC messages to adjust EQ remotely. Each band responds on channels 1-6 (one per track) with a range of 0-127:
- EQ high
- EQ mid
- EQ low
The manual does not go into further detail about specific frequency centers or cut/boost ranges for each band, so for precise EQ behavior you may need to experiment by ear. The three-band structure gives you broad tonal shaping across highs, mids, and lows for each of the six input channels.
