The TX-6 has a 3-band EQ on each channel with ±18 dB of boost or cut. The three parameter knobs control high, mid, and low frequencies.

EQ Controls

The parameter knobs default to EQ mode:

  • Blue knob (top): high frequencies
  • Orange knob (middle): mid frequencies
  • White knob (bottom): low frequencies

Turn clockwise to boost a frequency range, counter-clockwise to cut it. The center position is flat (no boost or cut).

Adjusting EQ

Simply turn the knobs while audio is playing through that channel. The display shows the current boost or cut amount. Each band can go from -18 dB to +18 dB.

Resetting EQ

Press and hold the select encoder for 1 second to reset any parameter knob to its default flat position.

Saving EQ Settings

If memory presets are activated in the system menu, hold SHIFT + FX I or FX II to save the current track's EQ and filter settings. Press the FX button (without shift) to recall those settings while held.
