The TX-6 has six 3.5mm stereo mini jack inputs on the top side. Each input can be configured in four different ways depending on what you're connecting.

Input Configuration

To set up an input, press and hold the corresponding track button (1-6) to enter the track menu. Turn the select encoder to access input mode settings.

Available Input Modes

  • Stereo: standard left/right configuration for stereo sources
  • Mono: the left input signal is mixed to both channels
  • Balanced mono: one extra turn from mono position, for balanced connections
  • Split: use a splitter cable to connect two mono sources to one input, then use the pan control to balance between them

Gain Settings

While in the track menu, you can also adjust the gain for each input. This helps prevent clipping or boost quiet signals before they reach the faders.

Important Warning

Never connect a 3.5mm cable to a mic input that has active phantom power. This can damage your equipment.
