The TX-6 has two independent effect processors that work in different ways to shape your sound.

FX I (Send Effects)

FX I uses send/return routing, meaning you control how much of each channel's signal goes to the effect while the original signal continues to the mix. This lets you blend wet and dry signals.

To adjust send levels, hold a track button and turn the select encoder. Control the overall return level with SHIFT + select encoder.

Available effects include chorus (subtle, medium, strong), reverb (drone, light, small, medium, large), and delay (1/8, 1/4, 2/3, 3/4, 1, 3/2, warp, mash). All delay and reverb effects sync to the internal tempo.

Pro tip: Hold the cue button while on the FX screen to preview the effect without sending it to the main output.

FX II (Insert Effects)

FX II uses insert routing, meaning all the signal passes through the effect when active. You can apply FX II to either a single track or the entire main mix.

Click a track button to select that channel for FX II. Click the same track button again to switch to main mode (affecting the full mix).

Available effects include tremolo, freeze (tap select to reset), tape (stop 1, stop 2, pong), filter, distortion (push, drive, blow, dstroy), and crush (shape, bend, chip, bit).

Quick Access

Press FX I or FX II to toggle effects on/off. Hold SHIFT + FX I or FX II to open the effect selection menu.
