Connect a headset with a microphone to the cue output jack. Hold SHIFT and press the cue button to access the headset mic controls.

Accessing Controls

Hold SHIFT + cue to open the headset microphone menu. This gives you control over the mic input even though it's connected to the cue output.

Available Settings

Turn the select encoder to adjust:

  • On/off toggle and volume level
  • Gain from 0 to +31 dB
  • Gate on/off (cuts low-level noise)
  • Ducking on/off (lowers other channels when you speak)
  • Effects: none, reverb (wetness 0-100), or delay (time 0-100)

Practical Use

The headset mic is useful for DJ announcements, podcasting, or live commentary while mixing. The ducking feature automatically reduces the music level when you speak, then brings it back up when you stop. The gate helps eliminate background noise when you're not talking.
