How do I use the aux output?
The aux output is a second output that can be used for external effects loops, recording performances, or sending audio to another device. Press the aux button to see send levels for each track.
Basic Controls
Turn the select encoder to adjust the overall aux output volume. To set individual track levels, hold a track button (1-6) and turn the select encoder. Click the select encoder and choose mode to switch between pre-fader (signal before the main fader) or post-fader (signal after the main fader).
Common Uses
Pre-fader mode is ideal for creating an independent monitor mix or routing signal to external effects that you want to bring back into an input channel. Post-fader mode is useful for recording a live mix exactly as it sounds on the main output.
Split/Switch Feature
The aux and cue jacks can be switched in the system menu. This is helpful if you need the stronger output signal from the aux jack for high-impedance headphones, or if you want to use the cue jack for other purposes. The aux output also supports sync output for connecting Pocket Operators or modular synths.
