The disk recorder captures your mix as a stereo WAV file directly to a USB drive. Connect a FAT-formatted USB drive (MBR partition scheme) and the TX-6 will record at 48 kHz 24-bit.

Basic Recording

  1. 1.Insert a FAT-formatted USB drive into the USB-C port.
  2. 2.Press FX II to start recording. The disk busy symbol appears on the display.
  3. 3.Press FX II again to stop recording.

Auto Mode

SHIFT + FX II activates automatic recording. The recorder starts when it detects audio and stops after 5 seconds of silence. This is useful for capturing performances without manual start/stop.

File Management

Click the select encoder to open the file browser. Turn select to scroll through recordings, click to play them back. You can delete files from this menu as well.

Check available space in the system menu under USB settings.

Important Notes

Never disconnect the USB drive when the disk busy symbol is flashing. The TX-6 records post-fader stereo mix to ensure your final output is captured exactly as heard.

Files are standard WAV format and can be transferred to your computer for editing or sharing.
