DJ mode turns channel 1's fader into a crossfader between channels 5 and 6, perfect for mixing between two decks. Channel 1 is disabled in this mode.

Activating DJ Mode

Navigate to the system menu by holding SHIFT and pressing select. Scroll to find DJ mode and turn it on.

Basic Operation

Once enabled, channel 1's fader becomes your crossfader. Moving it left brings in channel 5, moving it right brings in channel 6. Channels 2, 3, and 4 remain normal input channels with their own faders.

Crossfade Curves

Two curve options are available: slow fade for smooth transitions and fast cut for quick switches. You can change this in the DJ mode settings within the system menu.

EQ and Effects

Each deck (channels 5 and 6) has independent 3-band EQ control using the parameter knobs. You can also apply FX I and FX II to either deck. Hold the track button for channel 5 or 6 to adjust FX send levels and other parameters per deck.

Pro Tip

Use the cue output to preview one deck in your headphones while the other plays to the main output. Press the cue button and select which tracks you want to monitor.
