How do I use Bluetooth MIDI?

The TX-6 supports wireless MIDI connections via Bluetooth LE in two different modes.
Setting Up Bluetooth MIDI
Navigate to the system menu (SHIFT + select encoder), scroll to the Bluetooth section, and choose your preferred mode.
Device Mode
- 1.Set TX-6 to "device" mode in the Bluetooth menu.
- 2.The TX-6 will appear as a BLE MIDI device that other equipment can connect to.
- 3.Your computer, iPad, or other BLE MIDI host can scan for and connect to the TX-6.
- 4.Once connected, the TX-6 sends and receives MIDI data wirelessly.
Host Mode
- 1.Set TX-6 to "host" mode in the Bluetooth menu.
- 2.The TX-6 will scan for available BLE MIDI devices.
- 3.Select the device you want to connect to from the list.
- 4.The TX-6 acts as the central hub, connecting to wireless controllers or other BLE MIDI gear.
Additional Features
You can rename the TX-6's BLE device name in the system menu to help identify it when connecting. The TX-6 supports full bidirectional MIDI communication over Bluetooth, so you can control it remotely or use it to control other devices. MIDI clock can also be sent and received wirelessly for tempo sync.
