The TX-6 supports Bluetooth MIDI (BLE) for wireless MIDI communication with compatible devices. You can enable and configure it through the system menu.

Enabling Bluetooth MIDI

  1. 1.Access the system menu on your TX-6.
  2. 2.Navigate to the BLE (Bluetooth) section.
  3. 3.Enable BLE to make the TX-6 discoverable as a Bluetooth MIDI device.
  4. 4.On your connected device (phone, tablet, or computer), open your MIDI or DAW app and scan for Bluetooth MIDI devices.
  5. 5.Select the TX-6 from the list to pair and connect.

What you can do over Bluetooth MIDI

Once connected, the TX-6 can send and receive standard MIDI messages wirelessly, including:

  • Control change messages from faders, knobs, and buttons
  • Note messages for the internal synth and sequencer
  • Program change messages for scene slots

Tips

The TX-6 also supports link mode and standard USB MIDI if you prefer a wired connection. Bluetooth MIDI is useful for controlling apps or DAWs without cables, keeping your setup clean in the field. If you experience connection issues, check that no other antenna or transmitter is co-located with the TX-6, as this can cause interference.
