How do I use the Velocity LFO?

The Velocity LFO uses your keyboard playing velocity to modulate synth parameters, letting you add expression through how hard you press the keys.

Activating Velocity LFO

Press T4 to add an LFO. Press SHIFT + T4 to browse LFO types, select Velocity with the blue encoder, then tap blue or press T4 to confirm.

Main Parameters

Blue encoder controls velocity sensitivity. Ochre sets modulation amount. Gray selects the destination parameter you want to modulate. Orange selects which specific parameter within that destination.

Secondary Mode

Hold SHIFT while adjusting to access a second velocity option that affects volume amplification instead of the selected parameter.

How It Works

The harder you press keyboard keys, the more the selected parameter changes. This is different from standard LFOs that oscillate automatically. Velocity LFO responds directly to your playing dynamics, making sounds more expressive and responsive to your touch.
