How do I use the mixer and EQ?
The mixer is the final stage of your sound path where you balance tracks and shape the overall mix before output.
Accessing the Mixer
Press the mixer key to enter mixer mode. You'll see four main sections accessed via T1 through T4.
Track Levels and Panning (T1)
Press T1 to control individual track volumes and stereo positioning.
The four color-coded encoders control each track:
- Blue encoder: Track 1 level
- Ochre encoder: Track 2 level
- Gray encoder: Track 3 level
- Orange encoder: Track 4 level
Hold SHIFT and turn any encoder to adjust that track's pan position (left to right in the stereo field).
To mute tracks, press SHIFT + T1, T2, T3, or T4.
Three-Band EQ (T2)
Press T2 to access the master equalizer, which affects your entire mix.
The encoders control frequency bands:
- Blue: Low frequencies (100 Hz)
- Ochre: Mid frequencies (1 kHz)
- Gray: High frequencies (10 kHz)
- Orange: Overall EQ amount
Turn the orange encoder fully to enable CLEAN mode, which bypasses the EQ entirely. You can also tap the orange encoder to toggle individual frequency bands on or off.
