How do I use MTP for file transfer?

OP-1 Fieldtutorialguide

MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) is the primary way to import and export synth and drum kit presets between your OP-1 Field and a computer.

Accessing MTP mode

  1. 1.Connect your OP-1 Field to your computer using a USB-C cable.
  2. 2.Hold shift and press the output key to open the com screen.
  3. 3.Press T4 to enable MTP mode. The device will appear as a media device on your computer.

What you can do in MTP

You can import sounds from your computer to use as synth and drum kit presets, and export your own presets from the unit to your computer. Snapshot presets are stored as audio files in the synth and drum snapshot folders.

Notes

  • MTP is the default mode when pressing T4 in the com screen. If you want disk mode instead, hold shift and press T4.
  • Always eject the disk safely before disconnecting your OP-1 Field from USB.
