How do I use effects?

Effects add color and texture to your sounds. Press T3 to add an effect, press T3 again to toggle it on/off, and press SHIFT + T3 to browse and select different effects.

Adding and controlling effects

  1. 1.Press T3 to open the effects screen
  2. 2.Use the four color-coded encoders to adjust parameters (blue, ochre, gray, orange)
  3. 3.Press SHIFT + T3 to browse the effects library
  4. 4.Turn the blue encoder to scroll through effects, then press T3 or tap the blue encoder to confirm your selection

Available effects

Effects work in both synth mode and drum mode. The same 9 effects are available:

  • CWO: frequency, delay, feedback, sideband
  • Delay: range, speed, feedback, level
  • Grid: x size, y size, z feedback, mix (3D feedback plate)
  • Mother: distance, gate, color, mix
  • Nitro: frequency, filter follow, feedback, frequency (dual resonant filter)
  • Phone: tone, GSM, baud, telemetry
  • Punch: frequency, punch, rounds, power (low pass filter)
  • Spring: tone, turns, damping, mix (reverb)
  • Terminal: rate, bits, model, mix (bitcrusher/lo-fi)

Master effects

You can also add effects to your final mix in mixer mode. Press the mixer key, then T3. Master effects use the same effects but apply to the entire mix. Master effects are applied during output mixdown but are NOT recorded to tape tracks.
