How do I use Bluetooth MIDI?

The OP-1 Field supports Bluetooth LE MIDI, letting you connect wirelessly to external MIDI controllers, apps, or other devices. You advertise the device via the com screen, then manage connections from the same menu.
Advertising the OP-1 Field as a Bluetooth MIDI device
- 1.Hold shift and press the output key to open the com screen.
- 2.Press blue (the blue encoder) to toggle Bluetooth LE MIDI advertising on. This makes the OP-1 Field discoverable to other devices.
Viewing connected devices
- 1.Press T3 from the com screen to open the list view, which shows all currently connected USB and Bluetooth LE MIDI devices.
Configuring MIDI settings
- 1.Press T1 from the com screen to enter the MIDI settings screen.
- 2.Use the blue encoder to set the incoming and outgoing MIDI channel.
- 3.Use the ochre encoder to configure how MIDI clock is handled.
- 4.Use the gray encoder to configure MIDI notes behavior.
- 5.Use the orange encoder to set other MIDI messages, such as mod wheel and MIDI CC data.
Using the OP-1 Field as a MIDI controller
- 1.Press T2 from the com screen to switch the OP-1 Field into controller keyboard mode, sending MIDI out over Bluetooth to a connected device.
Once connected, you can also use the MIDI LFO (found under shift + T4) to receive external MIDI CC data and map it to internal parameters.
