How do I save and manage presets?
Saving and managing presets on the OP-1 Field involves several methods depending on whether you're working with snapshots, tape data, or organizing preset folders.
Saving Snapshots
Hold any sound key (1-8) for 3 seconds to save your current synth or drum configuration to that slot. These snapshots store all four modules: engine/DBOX (T1), envelope (T2), effect (T3), and LFO (T4).
Browsing and Loading Presets
Press SHIFT + sound keys 1-8 to browse all available presets. Use the blue encoder to scroll through preset folders and tap the blue encoder or press the corresponding sound key to load a preset.
Saving to Tape
- 1.Press LIFT while in synth or drum mode to copy your current sound to memory
- 2.Switch to tape mode
- 3.Press DROP to place the sound as audio data on the current tape track
Managing Preset Folders
Press SHIFT + T1 while in the preset browser to create new user folders for organizing your sounds. Use LIFT and DROP to copy presets between folders. Press T1-T4 and use the encoders to rename or delete folders and presets.
Computer Transfer
Connect via USB-C, hold SHIFT + press COM, then press T4 for MTP mode. You can now import and export preset files directly from your computer.
Randomization
Press SHIFT + Drop to randomize parameters of the currently loaded preset for instant experimentation.
