How do I save and manage presets?

OP-1 Fieldtutorialguide

You can save a snapshot of any current sound to one of the 8 preset slots, and retrieve them later using the preset keys and the shift key.

Saving a snapshot

  1. 1.Set up your sound the way you want it across the four modules (engine, envelope, FX, lfo).
  2. 2.Hold the desired preset key (any key from 1 to 8) for three seconds. A file is stored in the internal snapshot folder, named by the current date.

Loading a preset

  1. 1.Press any key from 1 to 8 to instantly load a preset from that slot.
  2. 2.To browse all available presets including your own snapshots, press shift + any key from 1 to 8. This opens a browser showing all engines and their presets.
  3. 3.Turn the blue encoder to select an engine, and the ochre encoder to select a preset. Note that loading a preset this way changes all four modules at once.

Reverting changes

Press shift + the sequencer key to discard any changes and revert the active sound back to its saved preset state.

Transferring presets via computer

Connect the OP-1F via USB, hold shift and press com, then press T4 to enter MTP mode. From here you can import sounds from your computer or export your own presets. Snapshot presets are stored as audio files in the snapshot folders for synth and drum.
