What effects are available on the EP-40?

The EP-40 has seven built-in effects plus a master compressor with sidechain, all accessible by pressing fx.
Available effects
- Delay, control length with knob x and feedback with knob y
- Reverb, control room size with knob x and colour (brightness) with knob y
- Distortion, control drive with knob x and colour/filter with knob y
- Chorus, control modulation rate with knob x and feedback with knob y
- Filter, control cutoff with knob x and resonance with knob y
- Compressor, control drive with knob x and speed with knob y
- Phaser, control modulation rate with knob x and feedback with knob y
How to use them
Press fx while playing, then use minus and plus to navigate between effects. Move the fader to set the send level for the currently selected group. Each group can be sent to one master effect independently.
Punch-in FX
Hold fx and press the pads to trigger punch-in effects on the fly. These are pressure sensitive and can be combined for live performance.
Master output compressor
Press shift and fx to access the master compressor and sidechain settings, which apply to the overall mix.
