How do I use the dub siren?
The dub siren is one of the ten supertone sounds built into Riddim. You access it through the supertone menu rather than loading a regular sample.
Loading the dub siren
Press sound to enter sound mode, then hold sound and press the dot pad. This opens the supertone selector. Use minus and plus to browse the ten supertone sounds until you find the dub siren, then press a pad to assign it.
Adjusting the sound
Each supertone has two preset parameters controlled by the X knob and Y knob. For supertones, the trim screen is replaced with a supertone parameters screen in sound edit. Press shift and sound to enter sound edit, then use minus and plus to navigate to the supertone parameters page. Parameters available across supertones include age, filter cutoff, filter resonance, unison, tone, length, sweep, LFO speed, and tune, though the exact two parameters depend on which supertone you have selected.
Playing it live
Once your dub siren pad is loaded, you can hold the pad in main mode and turn the X knob and Y knob to adjust its parameters on the fly, without entering sound edit.
Saving your edits
Hold shift and sound for two seconds to save any parameter changes you have made to the supertone in the current project.
