The EP-40 (Riddim) does not include pre-loaded artist tracks or a remix feature. The device is built around creating and recording your own original music from scratch.

What you can do instead

You can bring in external audio to work with:

  • Connect a phone or other device to the 3.5 mm line input and sample audio directly into Riddim
  • Use the built-in microphone to capture sounds
  • Transfer your own samples to the device using the EP Sample Tool at teenage.engineering/apps/ep-sample-tool

Build your own tracks

Once you have sounds loaded, you can:

  • Record beats live using the pads
  • Step sequence patterns precisely
  • Layer drums, bass, melodies, and loops across the four groups
  • Chop samples into slices using the chop function
  • Add effects like delay, reverb, distortion, and filter

If you have a specific track you want to work with, sample it through the line input and chop it up for a classic remix workflow.
