How do I use TING with the EP-40?

You can connect Ting to the EP-40 (called Riddim in the manual) to use it as a live microphone and effects unit alongside your beats. Here is the full setup process.
Connecting and setting up
- 1.Make sure Ting has batteries inserted and is powered on.
- 2.Plug Ting's output into the EP-40's audio input using a 3.5 mm cable.
- 3.Push the handle on Ting's left side to activate the microphone and test your voice level.
- 4.In main mode, turn knob X to adjust the input volume on the EP-40.
Adding effects
- 1.Turn knob Y while in main mode to send Ting's signal through the EP-40's built-in effects.
- 2.Press the orange button on Ting's right side to cycle through Ting's own built-in effects: echo, echo+spring, pixie, and robot.
Using Ting's samples
- 1.Press the white button on Ting's right side to trigger one of the four samples loaded into Ting.
- 2.Press the green button on Ting's right side to switch between the four available samples. To load new samples onto Ting, connect it to a computer and drop in new audio files.
Performing together
Play a song on the EP-40 and sing or speak over it with Ting, layering your voice with effects and sample triggers for a live performance setup.
