The EP-40 Riddim can work with TING as an external audio source for sampling and processing.

Basic Connection

Plug TING's output into the EP-40's line input using a 3.5mm cable. This lets you sample TING's sounds or process them through the EP-40's effects in real time.

Input Control

When you're in main mode, KnobX controls the input volume from TING. KnobY routes the incoming signal through whatever effect you have selected. This means you can add delay, reverb, distortion, chorus, filter, compressor, or phaser to TING's output on the fly.

Sampling from TING

Press SAMPLE and use plus to switch the input source to "line in mono" or "line in stereo". Hold a pad to record TING's audio directly into the EP-40. You can then chop, loop, or sequence these samples like any other sound.

TING's Built-in Features

TING has 4 effects: echo, echo+spring, pixie, and robot. It also plays back samples. You can layer TING's effects with the EP-40's effects for deeper sound design.

This setup works well for creating unique textures by combining TING's character with the EP-40's sampling and FX chains.
