How do I use the Supertone engine?
Supertone sounds are built-in synthesizers and effects (like dub sirens) that you can use instead of, or alongside, your regular samples. Here is how to access and use them.
Selecting a Supertone sound
Hold sound and press the dot pad to enter Supertone selection mode. Use pads 0-9 to choose one of the ten available Supertone sounds.
Adjusting parameters
Each Supertone has two adjustable parameters controlled by the x and y knobs. The available parameters vary by sound and include options like age, filter cutoff, filter resonance, unison, tone, length, sweep, LFO speed, and tune.
Adjusting parameters in main mode
You can tweak Supertone parameters on the fly without leaving main mode. Hold down the Supertone pad and turn the x or y knob to adjust its parameters in real time.
Editing and saving
To edit Supertone parameters more precisely, press shift and sound to enter sound edit mode, then use minus and plus to navigate to the Supertone parameters page. Once you are happy with your settings, hold shift and sound for two seconds to save your edits. Saved edits will apply whenever that sound is reloaded into a project.
Browsing extra sounds
You can also access Supertones from the regular sound browser by holding sound, pressing the dot pad, then pressing minus or plus to scroll through them.
