Punch-in FX let you trigger dramatic effect variations on your beat in real time by holding a button and pressing pads. They're pressure sensitive and can be combined for creative results.

To use punch-in FX

Press fx to open the FX menu, then use minus and plus to select the effect you want to send your group to.

Move the fader up to set the FX level for the current group.

While your beat is playing, hold down fx and press any pad to trigger punch-in FX. The effect will be applied as long as you hold the pad.

Tips

  • Punch-in FX are pressure sensitive, so pressing harder changes the intensity.
  • You can combine multiple punch-in FX by pressing several pads at once while holding fx.
  • Each group can be sent to one master FX, so set up your FX routing before performing.

Available effects

The FX you can cycle through with minus and plus include delay, reverb, distortion, chorus, filter, compressor, and phaser, each with parameters controllable via the x and y knobs.
