The Loop Startup Sequence (LSS) saves the mute or unmute state of your loop pads to a pattern, so that when you switch to that pattern, loops automatically start playing on the first beat.

Set your loops

First, set the desired state (muted or unmuted) for all loop pads in the group you want to save.

Save the LSS

Hold the group pad of the current group and record for two seconds, until LSS flashes on the screen followed by SAV. You can update the LSS at any time by repeating this combo.

Confirming it saved

The group pad will blink in main mode to show the pattern has a saved LSS. Loop pads saved as unmuted will show a solid light, unless manually muted, in which case they blink to show they will be unmuted when the LSS activates.

Save multiple groups at once

Hold all the group pads you want to save, then hold record to save their LSS simultaneously.

Erasing the LSS

Hold the group pad, record, and eraser for two seconds until LSS flashes followed by DEL. If you clear a pattern entirely, its LSS is also cleared.

How it activates

The LSS triggers when the pattern it is stored in is loaded, either by switching patterns or scenes. If you manually change a pad's mute state while stopped and then press play, your manual settings will override the LSS.
