Loop Startup Sequence (LSS) saves the muted and unmuted state of loop pads so they automatically activate when patterns load. This is essential for working with loopable samples in LOP play mode.

Save LSS

  1. 1.Set your loop pads to the desired muted/unmuted states by tapping them in main mode.
  2. 2.Hold the group pad + RECORD for 2 seconds. The display shows LSS flashing, then SAV to confirm.
  3. 3.To save LSS for multiple groups at once, hold multiple group pads + RECORD for 2 seconds.

Understanding the Indicators

The group pad blinks when LSS is saved. Individual loop pads show their state: solid light for unmuted loops, blinking for manually muted loops, and no light for muted loops.

If you manually change a loop pad's mute state while stopped and then press PLAY, your manual settings override the saved LSS for that playback session.

Erase LSS

Hold the group pad + RECORD + ERASE for 2 seconds. The display shows LSS flashing, then DEL to confirm deletion.

LSS works best when your samples are set to LOP play mode in sound edit mode, which makes them loop continuously in the background until muted.
