What sample rates does the CM-15 support?

The CM-15 supports four sample rates when connected via USB-C: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, and 96 kHz.

USB Audio Interface Mode

The microphone must be powered on to function as a USB audio interface. When connected while off, it only charges the battery and won't appear as an audio device.

Setting Sample Rate

Sample rate is configured through your computer's audio interface settings, not on the CM-15 itself. The microphone is class compliant, so it works without additional drivers on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Additional Digital Gain

When using USB mode, you can apply an additional ±12 dB of digital gain through your computer's interface settings. This is separate from the physical pad/gain switch on the microphone, which provides -18 dB, 0 dB, or +18 dB of analog gain.
