Getting started is straightforward. Flip the power switch to ON (green LED indicates powered and charged), set up the microphone using the built-in stand or tripod adapter, connect your cable, adjust the pad/gain switch based on your sound source, and start recording.

Power On

Flip the power switch to ON. The green LED confirms the unit is powered and the battery is charged.

Set Up the Microphone

Use the built-in stand by folding it out from the bottom and resting it on any surface. Angle as needed but avoid surfaces with vibrations.

Alternatively, attach the included tripod adapter (1/4" and 3/8" standard) to the bottom center. Loosen the thumbscrew, place the adapter, and tighten to secure on any mic stand or tripod.

Connect Your Cable

Choose the appropriate output for your application:

  • Mini XLR for studio recording (apply 48V phantom power from your preamp, mixer, or interface)
  • 3.5mm mini jack for portable devices like TX-6, OB-4, or camera mic inputs
  • USB-C to use as a class compliant audio interface with your computer

Adjust Gain Settings

Set the pad/gain switch based on your sound source:

  • Left (-18 dB) for loud sources like drums or close-miked amplifiers
  • Center (0 dB) for most general recording situations
  • Right (+18 dB) for quiet sources like ambient recording or distant sounds

Start Recording

You're ready to capture audio with studio-grade quality.
