The CM-15 connects to a USB host device, such as a laptop or OP-1 field, using the included USB-C cable. When connected and powered on, it appears as a single-input audio interface automatically.

What you need

  • The included USB-C cable
  • A USB host device (laptop, computer, or compatible device)
  • The CM-15 powered on

Steps to connect

  1. 1.Make sure the CM-15 is powered on by flipping the power switch to the on position.
  2. 2.Connect one end of the included USB-C cable to the port on the bottom of the CM-15.
  3. 3.Connect the other end to your computer or host device.
  4. 4.The CM-15 will appear as a 1-input audio interface in your system's audio settings.

Available sample rates

Once connected, you can select from the following rates in your audio software:

  • 44.1 kHz
  • 48 kHz
  • 88.2 kHz
  • 96 kHz

Extra gain in USB mode

An additional plus or minus 12 dB of digital gain is available through your computer's USB interface settings, on top of the hardware pad/gain switch settings.

Note: if you connect the CM-15 while it is turned off, it will only charge the battery and will not show up as an audio interface.
