How do I connect the CM-15 via USB-C?
CM-15tutorialguide
The CM-15 works as a class compliant audio interface when connected via USB-C. Turn the microphone on first, then plug the USB-C cable into your computer or compatible device.
Connection Steps
- 1.Turn on the CM-15 using the power switch
- 2.Connect a USB-C cable between the CM-15 and your computer
- 3.The microphone will appear as a 1-input audio interface on your system
Important Notes
The CM-15 must be powered on to function as an audio interface. If you connect it while turned off, it will only charge the battery and won't show up as an audio device.
Sample Rate Support
The USB-C connection supports these sample rates:
- 44.1 kHz
- 48 kHz
- 88.2 kHz
- 96 kHz
Additional Gain
When using USB-C mode, you can apply an additional ±12 dB of digital gain through your computer's audio interface settings. This is separate from the physical pad/gain switch on the microphone.
