How do I use the CM-15 as a USB audio interface?
CM-15tutorialguide
The CM-15 works as a USB class compliant audio interface with no drivers required. Simply connect it to a host device and it appears as a 1-input audio interface automatically.
What you need
- The included USB-C cable
- A host device such as a laptop or OP-1 field
- The CM-15 must be powered on
Steps to connect
- 1.Make sure the CM-15 is turned on by flipping the power switch to the on position.
- 2.Connect the CM-15 to your computer or host device using the USB-C cable.
- 3.The CM-15 will appear as a 1-input audio interface in your system's audio settings or DAW.
- 4.Select your preferred sample rate in your interface or DAW settings.
Available sample rates
- 44.1 kHz
- 48 kHz
- 88.2 kHz
- 96 kHz
Extra gain in USB mode
When using USB, you have an additional plus or minus 12 dB of digital gain available through your computer's USB interface settings, on top of the analog pad/gain switch on the mic itself.
One thing to note
If the CM-15 is connected while turned off, it will only charge the battery and will not show up as an audio interface. Always make sure the unit is powered on before connecting if you want to use it for audio.
