How do I start recording on the TP-7?

Starting a recording on the TP-7 is straightforward. Press record to arm the device (the recording LED will flash), then press play to begin recording. Press stop when you're done.
Basic Recording Steps
- 1.Press record to arm the device. The recording LED will flash to indicate it's ready.
- 2.Press play to start recording. The LED turns solid red while recording.
- 3.Press stop to end the recording.
Configuring Your Input
While the device is armed (recording LED flashing), you can configure your input source:
- 1.Press record again to access the input configuration screen.
- 2.Use minus/plus to select which track to record to.
- 3.Rotate the tape reel to choose your input source (nothing, internal mix, analog, or digital).
- 4.Use up/down to adjust input gain levels.
- 5.Press play to start recording with your chosen settings.
Input Source Options
The TP-7 auto-detects sources in auto mode, but you can manually select:
- Nothing (silence)
- Internal mix
- Analog (via the two-way mini jacks)
- Digital (via USB-C)
The number of available tracks depends on your sample rate setting in the system menu.
