# How do I use Bluetooth MIDI?

The OP-XY supports Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI for wireless connectivity with other devices like computers, tablets, and phones.

Enabling Bluetooth

Hold SHIFT + COM to enter system settings, then press M1 to access MIDI settings.

Press down on the dark grey encoder to make the OP-XY discoverable. The device will begin advertising its Bluetooth MIDI connection.

Connecting Devices

On your computer or mobile device, open Bluetooth settings and look for the OP-XY in your available MIDI devices. Select it to establish the connection.

Press M3 in the COM menu to view the list of connected USB and Bluetooth MIDI devices.

Configuration

Once connected, the OP-XY will send and receive MIDI data wirelessly according to your MIDI settings. You can configure MIDI channels, clock sync, note data, and CC messages in the MIDI settings (M1 in COM).

The OP-XY can send notes, clock, and other MIDI data to external devices, or receive MIDI input to control its internal synth engines.
