What is punch-in FX?
Punch-in FX is a real-time audio manipulation feature on Auxiliary Track 2 that lets you apply effects by playing keys on the keyboard while your sequence plays.
How It Works
The keyboard is split into two octaves. The lower octave contains percussion-focused effects, while the upper octave provides melodic effects. All effects are pressure-sensitive and respond to the device's gyroscope and pitchbend controls for expressive performance.
Using Punch-in FX
- 1.Press Auxiliary to enter auxiliary mode
- 2.Select Track 2 using the track buttons
- 3.Press Play to start your sequence
- 4.Hold keyboard keys to apply effects in real-time
Quick Access
You can trigger punch-in effects from any instrument track without switching modes. Just hold SHIFT and press keyboard keys to apply effects immediately.
Sequencing Effects
Punch-in effects can be sequenced like any other track. Record your effect performances using the step sequencer or live recording to create automated effect patterns that play back with your project.
