  4. 4.Press sequencer step buttons to place that sound in the pattern
  5. 5.Repeat with different drum sounds to build your beat

Recording a bassline

  1. 1.Select Track 3 (bass by default)
  2. 2.Hold Record and press Play to arm recording
  3. 3.Play notes on the keyboard as the sequence plays (first step flashes red)
  4. 4.Press Stop when finished

Adding chords

  1. 1.Select Track 7 (strings by default)
  2. 2.Hold multiple keyboard keys together to form a chord
  3. 3.Press a sequencer step to place that chord
  4. 4.Hold a step and press another step to extend the note length

Extending your pattern

Hold Bar and press Plus to add more bars to your sequence (up to 4 bars total). This gives you more steps to work with for longer patterns.
