How do I load samples from a computer?

You can transfer samples to the OP-XY using MTP mode, which lets your computer access the device's file system directly.

Enabling MTP Mode

1. 1.Press SHIFT + COM to open system settings.
2. 2.Press M4 to enter MTP mode.
3. 3.Connect a USB-C cable between your computer and the OP-XY.
4. 4.The device will appear as a storage device on your computer.

Loading Samples

1. 1.Navigate to the samples/user folder on the OP-XY.
2. 2.Drag and drop WAV or AIFF files into this folder.
3. 3.Eject the device properly from your computer.
4. 4.Power off and on the OP-XY to exit MTP mode.

Your samples will now be available in the Sample folder when you press Sample (waveform icon, top right). The OP-XY supports both WAV and AIFF formats. Remember that individual samples are limited to 20 seconds each.
