How do I backup projects?

To backup your OP-XY projects, connect the device to your computer via USB-C and enable file transfer mode.

Steps to backup

1. 1.Press COM + SHIFT together
2. 2.Press M4 to enter MTP mode (the display will show the file transfer interface)
3. 3.On your computer, the OP-XY will appear as a connected device
4. 4.Navigate to the projects folder on the OP-XY
5. 5.Copy the entire projects folder to your computer for safekeeping
6. 6.When finished, safely eject the OP-XY from your computer

Important notes

The projects folder contains all your saved work. The OP-XY supports thousands of projects and stores them with 8 GB of internal storage. Each project also maintains a history folder that stores every save and auto-save, allowing you to go back to previous versions.

For best results, create regular backups, especially before updating firmware or making major changes to your projects.
