What do the error codes mean?
The EP-133 has several error codes that indicate different types of issues.
Hardware Errors (Require Repair)
E.01 - SRAM Error The device's SRAM memory has failed and needs professional repair.
E.02 - Flash Error The flash memory has failed and needs professional repair.
E.03 - Codec Error The audio codec has failed and needs professional repair.
File System Errors (Can Be Fixed)
E.10 - LFS Invalid The file system is invalid. Format the flash drive to fix this.
E.11 - LFS Corrupt The file system is corrupted. Format the flash drive to fix this.
E.12 - Other LFS Error Another file system error occurred. Format the flash drive to fix this.
E.05 - Sample FS Error The sample file system has an error. Format the flash drive to fix this.
How to Format the Flash Drive
- 1.Hold SHIFT + ERASE while powering on the device.
- 2.The display shows "FMT" for about 10 seconds while formatting.
- 3.The device starts up with all content removed.
- 4.Update the firmware after formatting (visit teenage.engineering/apps/update).
Note: Formatting erases all your projects, scenes, patterns, and samples. The E.01, E.02, and E.03 errors cannot be fixed by formatting and require professional repair from Teenage Engineering.
