Press FX while your pattern is playing to enter effects mode. Use the minus and plus buttons to cycle through the six available effects (delay, reverb, distortion, chorus, filter, and compressor). Move the fader up to increase the effect amount on the currently selected group.

Basic FX Controls

Each effect has two parameters controlled by the X and Y knobs:

Delay: KnobX = time between repeats, KnobY = number of repeats

Reverb: KnobX = room size, KnobY = brightness/darkness

Distortion: KnobX = overdrive intensity, KnobY = frequency filtering

Chorus: KnobX = movement rate, KnobY = effect prominence

Filter: KnobX = cutoff frequency, KnobY = resonance at cutoff

Compressor: KnobX = input level, KnobY = response speed

Advanced Techniques

Solo specific groups: Hold FX and press a group pad to solo that group's effect. Hold FX and press multiple group pads to solo multiple groups.

Punch-in effects: Hold FX and press the 12 pads to trigger immediate, pressure-sensitive effects. These are combinable, so you can press multiple pads at once for layered punch-in effects.

Live input FX: Press MAIN to apply effects to external audio coming through the line input. KnobX controls input gain, KnobY controls the internal FX send level.

Master compressor: Press SHIFT + FX to access the output compressor. KnobX = drive, KnobY = speed.
