How do I use the metronome?

The metronome helps you stay in time while recording. You can set it to play during recording, playback, or just for the count-in.
Adjust Metronome Volume
Press Tempo and turn KnobY to control the metronome volume.
Change Metronome Behavior
Press Shift + Erase to access system settings. Navigate to sequencer settings using minus/plus until you see the metronome options:
- 400: Metronome plays during both recording and playback
- 401: Metronome plays during recording only (default setting)
- 402: Metronome plays during count-in only
Press Enter (a pad) to confirm your selection.
Using the Metronome
Once enabled, the metronome will click according to your chosen setting. When you press Record then Play to start recording, you'll hear the count-in if metronome is set to record or count-in mode. The click follows your current time signature, which you can adjust by pressing Main + Tempo and using KnobX/Y.
