How do I use the fader?

The fader is a versatile control that adjusts parameters in real-time. By default, it controls group volume, but you can reassign it to control other functions.

Changing the Fader Function

Hold FADER and press one of the pads above to select a different parameter. The available options depend on the current mode and group.

Recording Fader Automation

Hold RECORD and move the fader to record your movements into the pattern. The automation plays back automatically.

Adjusting Multiple Groups

Hold a group button (Group A, Group B, Group C, or Group D) and move the fader to adjust that group's volume directly.

Fine Control

Hold SHIFT while moving the fader for slower, more precise adjustments.

Resetting the Fader

Press SHIFT + FADER to reset the current parameter. The display shows RES. Press again to undo the reset (SET appears).

Erasing Automation

While stopped, hold ERASE + FADER for 2 seconds to delete all recorded fader movements. To erase while playing, hold ERASE + FADER during playback to remove all movements and reset to current positions.
