The EP-133 has a powerful effects section that processes your entire mix:

Accessing effects: 1. Press the FX button to enter effects mode 2. Use X and Y knobs to control effect parameters 3. The fader controls wet/dry mix

Available effects:

  • Delay — Echo/repeat effect
  • Reverb — Room/space ambience
  • Filter — Low-pass/high-pass sweep
  • Distortion — Overdrive and grit
  • Bit crush — Lo-fi digital degradation
  • Compressor — Dynamic control

How to apply effects: 1. Press FX to enter effects mode 2. Press a group button (A, B, C, D) to toggle FX on/off for that group 3. Groups with FX enabled show a lit indicator 4. Adjust parameters while playing to hear changes in real-time

Recording effects:

  • Effects apply to the master output
  • To "bake in" an effect, resample: record the output back into a new sample
  • This lets you stack multiple effects

Pro tip: The fader can automate effect parameters during playback. Record fader movements to add dynamic filter sweeps or delay throws.
