How do I sync with a Pocket Operator?

You can sync a Pocket Operator with the KO II in both directions, but the cable setup differs for each.

Syncing PO to KO II (KO II as master)

1. 1.Connect a standard 3.5mm cable from KO II sync out to PO sync in.
2. 2.Set your PO to SY2 mode.
3. 3.On KO II: Press SHIFT + ERASE, navigate to sync settings, select OUT, then choose 8 (for dual 8th note sync).

Syncing KO II to PO (PO as master)

1. 1.Use a TRS to 2x TS splitter cable. Connect PO's right channel to KO II's line input and PO's left channel to KO II's sync in.
2. 2.Set your PO to SY1 mode.
3. 3.On KO II: Press SHIFT + ERASE, navigate to sync settings, select in, then choose 8.

The dual 8th note sync mode sends clock on both tip and ring of the cable, which is what Pocket Operators expect for synchronization.
