Resampling lets you record the EP-133's output back into a new sample:

Why resample:

  • Bake in effects permanently
  • Combine multiple sounds into one
  • Free up groups for new elements
  • Create layered sounds

How to resample: 1. Set up what you want to record (patterns playing, effects applied) 2. Enter sample mode (press sample button) 3. Select the destination pad for your new sample 4. Press play to start playback 5. Hold the destination pad to record the output 6. Release when done

Resample tips:

  • Make sure your levels aren't clipping (adjust master volume)
  • Record full loops for seamless playback
  • The new sample captures everything: drums, bass, FX, etc.

Creative uses:

  • Stack effects: Resample with reverb, then add delay to the resampled sound
  • Bounce groups: Record all 4 groups to one sample, freeing up patterns
  • Glitch effects: Resample short sections for stutter/chop effects

Important:

  • Resampled audio is "flattened" — you can't un-mix it
  • Quality depends on your input/output settings
  • Always keep original patterns until you're happy with the resample
