How do I record fader automation?

To record fader automation, hold RECORD while moving the fader. The automation will be recorded into your pattern as you adjust the fader's parameter in real-time.
How it works
- 1.Make sure you're in play mode or ready to record a pattern.
- 2.Hold RECORD and move the fader to capture automation movements.
- 3.Release RECORD when finished. The automation is now part of your pattern.
Managing fader automation
Reset fader automation:
- Press SHIFT + FADER to reset all automation (display shows "RES")
- Press SHIFT + FADER again to undo the reset (display shows "SET")
Erase fader automation:
- While stopped: Hold ERASE + FADER for 2 seconds until "FDR" blinks
- While playing: Hold ERASE + FADER during playback to delete all movements and reset to current positions
Tips
The fader can control different parameters. Hold FADER and press a pad to reassign its function. By default, it controls group volume (level). For fine control while recording automation, hold SHIFT while moving the fader for slower, more precise adjustments.
