To delete samples from the EP-133:

Delete a sample from a pad: 1. Enter sound mode (press sound button) 2. Select the pad with the sample you want to remove 3. Press shift + erase 4. The sample assignment is cleared (pad becomes empty)

Note: This removes the sample from that pad, but the sample may still exist in the sound library.

Delete from sound library: 1. Enter sound mode 2. Navigate to the sound library (use plus/minus to scroll through sounds 0-999) 3. Find the sample you want to delete 4. Press shift + erase 5. Confirm deletion

What gets deleted:

  • Removing from a pad: Just the assignment (sample still in library)
  • Removing from library: The actual sample data (frees memory)

Memory management:

  • The EP-133 has 64 MB sample memory
  • Deleting unused samples frees up space
  • Check memory usage in system settings

Warning:

  • There's no undo for sample deletion
  • Samples used in multiple places may disappear from all
  • Back up your projects before major deletions

Tip: Use the EP sample tool (web app) to manage samples more easily on a computer.
