How do I delete or erase a pattern?

To erase a pattern, hold ERASE and the group pad for the group whose pattern you want to clear, and keep holding until "PTN" blinks on the screen.
What gets erased
This erases the current pattern for that group. If you want to erase patterns across multiple groups at once, you can hold ERASE and multiple group pads at the same time.
Other related erase options
- Erase a single note: hold ERASE and press the pad for that note until "TRK" blinks
- Erase during playback: hold ERASE and press the pad while the pattern is playing
- Erase a whole scene: hold ERASE and MAIN for two seconds (clears contents, or deletes the scene if it is empty and not in the song list)
- Undo: press SHIFT and Group B if you change your mind, as long as the umbrella icon is lit
Before you erase
Consider using copy first. Press SHIFT and Group C to copy the pattern, so you have it saved somewhere else before wiping it.
