How do I delete a sample?

You can permanently delete a sample from device memory using the Erase and Sound buttons. Note this removes the sample from the device entirely, not just from a pad.
Steps
- 1.Press Sound to enter sound mode.
- 2.Select the group and pad that has the sample you want to delete.
- 3.Hold Erase and Sound until "SND" blinks on the screen.
The sample is now permanently removed from the device's memory.
Things to keep in mind
- This cannot be undone, so make sure you have a backup via the EP Sample Tool if needed.
- Samples are shared across projects, so deleting one removes it everywhere it is used.
- If you only want to clear a pad without deleting the underlying sample, you can simply assign a different sound to that pad using minus and plus in sound mode.
