How do I change the time signature?

You can change the time signature per pattern using a combination of the MAIN and TEMPO buttons. Both knobs are then used to dial in the numerator and denominator.

Steps

  1. 1.Press MAIN and TEMPO together to open the time signature settings.
  2. 2.Turn knobX to adjust the upper number (beats per bar).
  3. 3.Turn knobY to adjust the lower number (the beat unit).

Things to note

  • Time signature is set per pattern, so different patterns can have different time signatures.
  • You can combine unusual time signatures with pattern lengths of up to 99 bars for complex arrangements.
  • The time signature works alongside your timing/note interval setting, which you set separately by pressing TIMING and turning knobX.
