How do I add reverb to a sound?
KO IItutorialguide
Reverb on the KO II is a master effect, meaning you send a group to it and control the amount with the fader. Here's how to set it up.
Enter FX mode
Press FX while your pattern is playing.
Select reverb
Press + or − to cycle through the available effects until reverb is shown on the display.
Set the send level
Move the fader up to send more of the current group into the reverb. The higher the fader, the more reverb you'll hear.
Adjust reverb character
Turn knobX to set the length (room size, from small to cathedral-scale). Turn knobY to adjust the color, filtering high or low frequencies to make the reverb brighter or darker.
Tips
- Each group can be sent to one master effect, so only one FX type is active per group at a time.
- You can also run a live input signal through reverb by going to main, turning knobX for input gain, and knobY for the FX send level.
- For subtle reverb, keep the fader low and set a longer length. For a washed-out effect, push the fader up and crank knobX.
