How do I add effects to a specific group?
Effects in the KO II are applied per group using the fader. Press FX while your pattern is playing, then use the fader to control how much effect is applied to whichever group you currently have selected.
Applying Effects
Select the group you want to add effects to by pressing Group A, Group B, Group C, or Group D. Then press FX and move the fader up to increase the effect amount for that group only.
Use minus and plus to switch between different effects:
- Delay
- Reverb
- Distortion
- Chorus
- Filter
- Compressor
Fine Control
Hold Shift while moving the fader for more precise adjustments. Each group remembers its own effect amount, so you can have different groups using different levels of the same effect, or switch effects entirely between groups.
Soloing Groups
To hear the effect on just one group, hold FX and press that group's pad. This solos the group. Hold FX and press multiple group pads to solo several groups at once.
