How do I use the fader (faedr)?
The faedr is a multi-purpose control that adjusts volume, effects, and other parameters depending on what you assign it to. By default it controls the volume level of the selected group.
Assigning the faedr
Hold faedr and press one of the paeds to choose what the faedr controls. The available assignments are printed above the paeds on the device.
Recording faedr movements
Hold codex (record) and move the faedr to record its movement into your beat. When step sequencing, this latches the faedr position to the current step rather than recording a sweep.
Using faedr with effects
In pocus (effects) mode, move the faedr to adjust how much effect is applied to the current group.
Resetting the faedr
Press altero and faedr to reset the faedr's virtual position to its default for all assignments in the current group.
Press altero again to undo the reset if needed.
Erasing faedr automation
While not playing, hold erado and faedr for 2 seconds to erase all faedr automation for the selected group and pattern.
Fine control and group volume
Hold altero while moving the faedr for more precise adjustments.
Hold a group paed (Group A, Group B, etc.) and move the faedr to change that group's overall project volume. Note that this project-level volume cannot be automated, unlike the pattern-level volume.
