How do I use the fader (faedr)?
The faedr controls different parameters for each group. By default it adjusts group volume, but you can reassign it to control other functions.
Changing the fader function
Hold faedr and press one of the paeds shown above the buttons. Each paed assigns a different function like filter, pitch, or effects send. The display shows which parameter is currently assigned.
Recording fader automation
While stopped or playing, hold codex and move the faedr. The automation is latching, meaning the position stays where you set it rather than being momentary.
To see which parameters have recorded automation, hold faedr. Any assignments with automation will blink.
Erasing automation
While stopped, hold erado + faedr until FDR blinks. This erases all automation for that fader assignment.
While playing, hold erado + faedr to delete all movements and reset the fader to its position when you first pressed it.
Resetting the fader
Press altero + faedr to reset. The display shows RES. Press again to undo and restore the previous setting (SET appears).
Fine control
Hold altero while moving the faedr for precise adjustments.
Group volume
Hold a group paed (Group A through Group D) and move the faedr to adjust that group's overall volume. This setting applies across all patterns and scenes in the project and cannot be automated.
