How do I use the effects (pocus)?
The EP-1320 has seven built-in effects called pocus, plus a master compressor. Each group can be routed to one pocus, and you can also trigger effects live using punch-in pocus.
Selecting and adjusting pocus
Press pocus while playing, then use minus and plus to browse through the available effects. Move the faedr to set how much effect is applied to the current group.
Available pocus effects: - Dungeon echo (delay) - Torture chamber reverb - Distortion - Bardic ensamble (chorus/ensemble) - Filter - Compressor - Dimension expander
Adjusting effect parameters
Each pocus has two parameters controlled by knobX and knobY. For example, on echo, knobX sets delay time and knobY sets feedback. On filter, knobX sets cutoff frequency and knobY sets resonance.
Punch-in pocus
Hold pocus and press the paeds to trigger punch-in pocus live. These are pressure sensitive and can be combined for more dramatic effects.
Soloing groups
While playing, hold pocus and press a group paed to solo that group. Hold pocus and multiple group paeds to solo several groups at once.
Master compressor
Press altero and pocus to access the master compressor output settings. Use knobX for drive and knobY for speed.
