How do I use note repeat (quantum)?
Note repeat lets you trigger a sound repeatedly at the current note interval just by holding a button. It also supports pressure sensitivity if velocity is enabled, and you can combine multiple pads for an arpeggio effect.
Basic note repeat
Hold quantum and press a paed to trigger note repeat for that paed. The sound will repeat according to the current note interval setting.
Change the note interval
Press quantum to open the quantum menu, then turn knobX to set the note interval. Available options:
- 1/8 (8 steps per bar)
- 1/8T (triplet, 12 steps per bar)
- 1/16 (16 steps per bar)
- 1/16T (triplet, 24 steps per bar)
- 1/32 (32 steps per bar)
Add swing
While in the quantum menu, turn knobY to adjust swing. Swing only applies to 1/8 and 1/16 note intervals.
Arpeggio
Hold quantum and press multiple paeds at once to trigger an arpeggio across those paeds.
Velocity sensitivity
Note repeat is pressure sensitive when velocity is enabled. To turn on velocity, press altero and erado to enter system settings, navigate to pad, then vel, and choose hi or lo depending on your playing style.
